some time last year i saw a heron sitting in a eucalyptus tree at the silver lake reservoir. i stood, leaning on my bike observing it in the branches. this last weekend i was walking around the reservoir and saw this sign! i've seen a few herons that i took to be flying through the area. i had no idea they nest here!i didn't see any herons while walking around the reservoir this day, but later as i was walking on rowena near the coffee table, one flew over headed toward the LA river.
